Daniel Yoder, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices comprehensive ophthalmology.  With over 2 decades of experience and having performed 12,000+ cataract surgeries, Dr. Yoder uses the latest in small incision-no stitch-no shot cataract surgery – including multifocal and toric/astigmatism-correcting implants.  Dr. Yoder also has extensive experience managing other ophthalmic conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetes as it relates to the eye, and hypertension (high blood pressure) as it relates to the eye.

Dr. Yoder grew up in Indiana and Iowa.  He received his B.S. degree summa cum laude with a double major in biology and chemistry from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR.  He obtained his M.D. degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC.  After finishing his internship in Roanoke, VA, Dr. Yoder completed both his ophthalmology residency and retina fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, which is consistently ranked as the number one training program in the country.

Dr. Yoder is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.  He is married and has three children.  He is active in his church as a deacon and teacher.  He has also been involved in multiple community organizations and enjoys a host of sports (e.g., pickleball, tennis, basketball) and outdoor activities (e.g., mountain biking, skiing, hiking).
